Lemon Blossom Farms is located in Kingsland, Ga. Our area is a coastal region, we live right on the marsh so the coastal breeze brings us some relief during the hot summer days. We are in growing zone 9A. For us we often carry a very warm and humid climate (typically 90* F days starting in May and lasting until October into November sometimes). Our winders are mild, usually only with a few days of frost/freeze (rarely lower then 25* F). We relate much of our growing climate to that of subtropical regions.

Our family started the homesteading lifestyle a few years ago when we noticed our family struggling with nutritional health. Looking over our food labels raised some concerns for us, and we decided to try and grow and raise some of our own food. We have grown some from our small garden and 4 count flock, but one thing always stays true, we know where our food comes from.

We currently have 20 layer chickens as of Spring 2025. Our girls are a variety of breeds from Cinnamon Queens, Rhode Island Reds, Plymouth Bard Rocks, and others.

We do a bit of it all. Mostly though it's raised beds and containers. We have 3 raised beds that most of our produce is grown in along with over 50 container gardens (5 gallon buckets). We do a little in ground gardening, mostly with things like ginger, banana trees, citrus trees, and flowers.
